The model originally wanted another design, but when she came to the studio she saw the sketch of this design on the wall. Since she has a fro just like the girl in the sketch and afro is part of her identity, she asked if we could do that design instead of what she asked for previously.

The sketch was originally created as part of brainstorming for a 70’s theme body painting that we did for an event. We didn’t get to do it for that event since the client decided to go with something more abstract. This was a great opportunity to do that design.

For the retouching, I tried to ly and old picture instagram-ish effect.
